Within the framework of its process and information architecture called Treda Process Infrustructure (TPI), Treda provides Java mentoring services in order to enable its customers to develop timely and cost-effective applications and, to improve the quality of their products and services. Treda offers mentoring services, which include consultancy throughout the entire application development lifecycle and works based on experiences sharing. There is a brief description of these services below, based on the basic application development phases :

Initial Project Steps and Planning
Project objectives and scope are reviewed with the customer. Suggestions are offered in order to guide the project team and to make the project plan.

Analysis of Business Requirements and The Solution Design
In the requirements’ analysis and design phase, usage status, actors, roles and their relations with the application are identified.

The data, information and concepts, which involve in the operation of business processes, are identified. Objects are defined from the perspective of business process owners and, their information structures and functions are reviewed. This study, called the Business Object Model, while representing the aspect of object-oriented architecture as known by the business owners during the entire project, is the basis on which the required changes are expressed.

Tool Selection
The required assessment criteria are defined to choose the best Java technology tool and, the customer chooses a tool considering its requirements.

Software Architecture Design
Consulting concerning the design of the application within a tiered structure is offered and/or the design is made in cooperation with the customer.

Component Design
Object-oriented/component-based design is realized within the stage of needs analysis and solution design.

Application Development, Error Debugging, Test
Information and experiences concerning the application development standards, error debugging and test methods are shared with the customer.
